Yes, he breaks his own record every day.

I have no idea how he gets so many new listeners per day when Gaga's new listeners are growing by much less, APT. alone is not enough for explanation. Maybe Gaga's listeners have been listening to Gaga's biggest songs from time to time, while Bruno is really reaching a whole new audience?

Bruno's catalog is currently charting like he just released an album and performed at the Superbowl. His monthly listeners are not coming just from DWAS/APT.

He has 10 songs doing over 1M daily, 3 of them are doing almost 3M. They're charting like current hits.

He was touring in Asia and Brazil these past few weeks and his presence in the press/public is unlike anything I've witnessed for male singers since MJ.

Guys look at Disease like an early LG7 gift for Little Monsters, enjoy it.

Don’t let any chart numbers make you like or dislike a song.

p.s. I already know that the week of LG7 dropping I’m not reading any chart updates. I don’t want to when I play it to think - okey this can do 8M on Spotify first day, okey this is going to flop.

Not charts related but Disease is already my most listened to song of 2024 - 74 plays so far (+ seen music video maybe 20-30 times) and I haven’t partaken in any spam streaming either.

Whether it ends up flopping or not, it’s a damn good song!

Aside from Taylor, a fanbase is not enough to give a song a big debut. It's been proven again and again. The GP needs to check it out. You mentioned Beyonce but her GP standing is miles above Gaga in music. Disease isn't any worse than Texas Hold'em but the GP is gonna check out Beys stuff at least on debut week. It's why she had a huge debut but fell shortly after. SL, for all it's faults, came at a time when Gaga had GP momentum thanks to ASIB. Unfortunately the song was not good hence it tanked right after (similar to Beyonce's country stuff). Disease certainly isn't a masterpiece but I truly believe it checks off most boxes for a good hit single. It's certainly better than Break My Soul for example. But the sad truth is, Gaga squandered her GP appeal with ARTPOP and had been absent from the pop landscape in the following years with Joanne and Jazz. ASIB brought her back but she once again squandered it with SL/Chromatica then went away from pop music again similar to the 2014-2016 period. JFAD should have brought her back but it tanked. They needed to pivot, and I don't think they succeeded. It really seems like the entire lead single roll out was banking on a smash JFAD. They released a Halloween song a few days before Halloween (can you imagine releasing a xmas song on December 21?) and now it's already xmas music season. This would have been ok if JFAD smashed, she would have rode the momentum. . The timing is not conducive to a hit song. It's not a sexy option, but I think they should have scrapped the single and regrouped for January.

Feels like JFAD made GP hate her again, so many hate comments online thanks to the movie... :madge:

Also the music video is objectively one of her worst, the lack of dance numbers makes it lacking "Gaga" and reduces replay value...also the first chorus starts with too long shot which makes it look weird and out of place. It just doesn't feel like Lady Gaga music video at all tbh... :saladga:

If she for once released a song with Alejandro/Sour Candy/Paparazzi/Alice kind of vocals and production, GP would eat it for sure, but not these PI/Disease type of vocals and production that only some fans want... :alsemanche:

I stand by this song being an absolute banger and an ear worm. Just heard it twice on the same radio station within the past two hours. I only heard Stupid Love on the radio 3-4 times a couple weeks after it was released. I’ve heard Disease 10 times in the past 6 days.

It's interesting that radio is playing it relatively often but streams aren't catching up, maybe we'll have a delayed hit?

I’ve noticed that with some songs. I’ll hear something on the radio a lot in its beginning stage and check the streams and go “Hmmm…relatively low streams to be on the radio so often.” It seems the streams gradually increase to big numbers as long as a song continues a stable relationship to the radio. I’ve heard that a lot of radio stations just have a certain playlist and people who request songs only “think” the DJ or automatic system is playing it for them. If that’s the case, at least Disease is in the playlist.

Gaga would do the same for LG7, touring more of Asia and include Brazil...i can feel it.

Disease’s radio rise is kinda promising for longevity! Will see what this week shows…

DWAS shouldn't be a stand alone single, this song is bigger than Shallow and most of her first hits but it doesn't fit the aesthetic of disease or zombiefied at all lol

maybe if she releases a dual album, one with a dark aesthetic and other one full with ballads and 70s-60s aesthetic, something similar to tf and tfm

DWAS will not be on LG7.

the way you all want to add it just because it will have 1b streams by the time LG7 drops :awkney:

It will have 1B streams within next 10 days and DWAS will break record for fastest song to reach 1B streams

they might say that we're crazy, but i’m just in ❤️ with u
