Million Reasons wasn’t promoted that much, I don’t know why people always use that example. Probably because they wanted her to move on from that song. It was just over a long period of time. At the time, she had promoted all of her singles more than MR except PI and G.U.Y. Since then, she’s become more and more silent over the years

Actually I remember that it was, both as a promo single and actual single.

It has about 10 televised performances.

It actually made more sense about the massive promo of her earlier singles as she was breaking through, but MR got fair amount of performances (2016-2018), almost untypical for a fifth-era song.

And what's clicking with the new gen? the bar song? the tik tok songs that the world forgets in 2 months? No thanks.

The world wants the ballads from her or what they call "real music". Y'all cried about it and she gave us a pop record. Now take it.

I so love you

I've been wondering whether Harlequin has a shot at Traditional Pop Vocal album. It won't win, but considering it came from someone as famous as Gaga, it wouldn't surprise me.

God, Happy Mistake.. i believe so much in this song. I thing its her best song since i don't even know when... Despite the low recognition and the one n only performance, Grammys have shown before they reward that songs (Joanne is a good example..) but i don't know the concept.. do they need (the artist's team) to declare participation for the song or Grammies chooses by themselves?

Still DWAS i believe its for sure and i have a secret hope for Happy Mistake too..

Gaga is enjoying a unique resurgence—her catalog is soaring, and she’s released some of the biggest hits of recent years (“DWAS,” “Shallow,” “Always Remember…”). Sure, I’d love to see her score another mega pop hit, but look at Beyoncé’s numbers—impressive first, disappointing in few months. Maybe a slow built-up is a better approach. After all, Gaga can afford to experiment with how she launches a new era or single, since she is bringing in INSANE revenue.

My only fear is that these false narratives stick to her aka ARTPOP. But it is too early to tell and she can still save Disease and hit back harder with the second single, album rollout.

I don't understand the silence with Disease, a first single, compared to the hype of Harlequin (which is great btw, listen to it when doing some chores and it will grow on you really fast)

Harlequin had a Vogue cover, a Jimmy Kimmel performance, promo, interviews and hype that came along with Joker's press tour.  So far, Disease has only had a music video released, and Tiktok's shared on her story. Not even an interview about the song like she usually does.

I'm not here to complain, because I honestly don't care, the song and video are great, I'm just curious what the team's strategy is? Performances may not be as influential as they used to be, but they definitely are for Gaga, Happy Mistake's performance got great views and gave it a boost. Releasing it too late to Halloween preventing it to become more well known and playlisted, and releasing it right before an election and holiday season when people become distracted really doesn't make sense to me. Again, I'm not complaining, I'm just trying to theorize whether they have other plans? If so, how would this rollout be benefitting it? I like the song and think people can really like it with good promo.

Only thing I can think of is that they chose to release around the election again knowing how emotionally impacted she is by world issues lol

Happy Mistake & Harlequin are NOT gonna be nominated this year, it's eligible for 2026, not 2025.

Only DWAS, Gaga Chromatica Ball & SSOH are eligible for the upcoming nominations.
