I think it's fine - Gaga's best singles cause the public to scratch their heads at first before they grab people with their massive hooks / choruses. Everyone agrees that it's her best single in ages, more people just need to be exposed to it. The song will get a lot of exposure this week at Halloween parties. Also imagery has always been an integral part of Gaga's recipe and if the MV is good, it should further push it into the Zeitgeist.
