I hope Die With A Smile is a long-playing song in the world of charts, Gaga and Bruno have done everything for this, they are brilliant and they have no equal. Too early to rank it but it’s 100% in her top 20 best songs, with a strong possibility of actually being top 10 or 5 but we’ll see as time goes by The DETAILS. The way it starts/ends sounding completely different from the rest of the song, the overall sound is SO EarlyGa at the time of Wonderful/Fever/Again Again, the vocals are amazing, those DRUMS and hats are clean as fvck, that bass goes HARD, the dance break is out of this world with that violon melody (the same as in Replay “it’s my houuuuuuuuse”), the vocal run she does when she starts singing her verse, the little one Bruno does in his verse as well, the soft key change during the last chorus, and also those chords really sound unique, weird and beautiful at the same time (I’ve got the same feeling with the chords in Meet Me Halfway for example, they just sound very new). Also that guitar riff that starts and ends the song is giving original Partynauseous, and the last chorus sung by Granola alone at the piano reminds me of ARUTW. Oh and Bruno’s “a-aa-aaaw!” right before the break with the echo, it’s all out of this world. The song has POTENTIAL. Real fvcking potential. And for once Gaga seems to know it and do her thing.
