before 2020, beyonce was a bigger artists in every single ****ing way than traylor. 

just cuz TS has been bigger than beyonce the last 4 years does not erase the fact that  between 2000-2020, beyonce was bigger artists in sales and in impact

Beyoncé is the far more interesting of the two when it comes to music and visuals and musical/performer talent 

Personality wise, Beyoncé seems a little vacant and mysterious and it seems she has a team who takes care of the writing and producing and actual art making for her.

Taylor does seem to be more hands on with the writing and injecting herself and her experiences into her songs. Yet she still manages to be too ordinary to stand out and be remarkable or exciting enough to be crowned #1 in the pop star category.  And lyrically I don’t even think she could be #1 in the songwriting category either. She just has the biggest and most loyal fan base of anyone and that is where she lands #1

Well Beyoncé has been doing this longer and is at that neck and neck which I think qualifies her as better. It’s really no shade to anyone, but if you’re at the top of pop and have been for nearly 30 years in one capacity or another…girl you’re the best lol

I think Beyoncé likes directing and being a boss. Like that’s her art lmao hearing how she puts diff songs together to create a song, you know? After all this time she still likes being team leader she just has only her name on the billing now.

I actually like Beyoncé way more, but I can't agree with such a childish post. Indeed, even if your favorite won and you say you are happy AF you still sound angry

Yeah I don't think its fair to compare Taylor & Beyonce at this stage.

Like you say, Beyonce has had a dominant solo career since 2003 & had Destiny's Child prior to that. Taylor Swift's first truly global era was 1989 which was only 12 years ago. And she really only matched that peak and moved past it once Folklore dropped and this current era of Taylor Swift kicked in.

I've said for years if anyone even comes close to his level these days it's Beyoncé. 

She's not my favorite but it'd be impossible to say she isn't the greatest living pop icon I'd even put her over Madonna personally. But I know that'd be controversial and anyone who disagreed with that would definitely have valid reasons to.

She reminds me a lot of MJ in the way she creates. If you look at his writing credits, a huge amount of songs (maybe 25% to 30%) are written mainly by other people. But a lot of the writers' demos are available and they sound NOTHING like the finished product.

I never took Bey not writing a lot of her own lyrics as a sign of her being less artistically involved with her work. There is so much more involved with making her iconic projects and comparing Taylor's love songs to Bey's songs celebrating black and queer cultures or bringing attention to the issues communities are facing? It's a disservice idk.
