Beyoncé deserves that #1 but Taylor has earned that #2, especially since Folklore til now.

This is about the entire 21st century and yes Taylor has the sales and popularity, etc. but Beyoncé was already a global superstar when the Taylor/Kanye incident happened and she let her have her moment when she was just starting.

Gaga, Rihanna and Britney was a toss up for different reasons and they all deserved high spots too.

At this point in Taylor's career I feel like fans have focused more on sales, chart positions, record breaks rather than what the MUSIC itself has had an impact in culture. Beyoncé every project that she does it feels monumental. From Self Titled, Lemonade, The Gift, Renaissance, Cowboy Carter, the Jay Z collab. It's like she releases music when she has something to say.

Taylor objectively should be #1 but I feel they chose Beyonce more for clout.

Honestly it could have gone either way. But I'm glad they picked beyonce. Talent over sales. (Not saying taylor isn't talented by the way)

Wow, comparing Gaga music with this Top 3 spots is shocking, Gaga catalogue is so diverse and each song is unique and feels like an anthem, musically Gaga is beyond this “Hits list”, we should be proud. :firega:

Guys you really need to stop… this list was not about these artists’s ARTISTRY but about their “influence” on and their place in the “pop” world… Gaga has had a great and huge influence that everybody knows of BUT do not get it twisted… she is not THAT big as Taylor and Beyonce. They touch certain publics that Gaga doesnt touch. Gaga is still very “gay” compared to them… yes she has some mainstream hits and yes she has starred in some movies, but until now the most highlights of her music career have been around 2009-2012.

Taylor and Bey are just on a way bigger level… concert wise (like look at their latest tours … in some cities they did easily 2-3 nights! Tay even did 4 in some cities no? Gaga only did 5/6 shows in total in Europe with CBT and struggled selling out some them.. also album wise, chart wise….

(and fyi Im not even huge Tay/Bey fan fyi)

Wait... I partially agree with this top, Beyonce is here since the 90s, she still makes hits. :queenga:

Taylor is here since 2000s and she's currently the most popular pop girl. :vegas:

Rihanna is an important It girl, she made music and ppl keep streaming it despite the fact that she doesn't release new musics. :glamourpuss:

Drake... I don't like him and his music but he's a hit maker. I suppose. :cyanlights:

Gaga is a versatile icon who introduce campiness in mainstream pop culture. :firega:

...I still think that there should have gave a place to Lana in this top. :yennefer:

I'm here to take a break from university homeworks :/

Then I'll say it: TS doesn't have talent :teehee:

Religion is a product to sell.

The right choice. Beyoncé is by far more talented, impactful and relevant to pop culture and society in general.

She still kicking it after 30 years into her career. Totally deserved!

the scars on my mind are on replay.

crackhead

Shocked at how high yall are ranking Drake… I know his music is popular but IMPACT???? Girl…

anyway Beyoncé is 100% no.1 with T*ylor at no.2 only because she hasn’t been around for as long, but their impacts are definitely similar. Gaga SHOULD be no.3 but I also wouldn’t be surprised if they snub her :laughga:

Don't be biased because Bey and Taylor's catalogue is diverse as well. A different thing is that you don't know that. And maybe if we try to compare all 3 by simply "hits list" Gaga team might end up losing
