I'm sorry but Britney should higher and I'm not even her fan. For a whole decade, Britney Spears was synonymous with "Pop Music", she was THE pop star, post Madonna. 

Globally wise as well. I feel like they're doing this list with a very... "today's narrative" point of view, rather than taking into consideration these performers overall impact in pop culture. Britney's persona, and music, were incredibly impactful, regardless of how popular she is, let's say, this year.

Excited to see where gaga places in the top 5. 

Her and Beyonce have the similar stats in terms of sales and charts so I wonder who would place higher.

Yay top5, should we be greedy and aim for top 3 now? It would be so deserved! Gaga Taylor and Beyonce should be top 3, I won’t even be upset about the order because realistically, either one deserves it.
