I mean the way she sang it like a ballad and that it didn't sound like it would fit the genre it turned out to be..... Basically, you can't judge. Does it matter if she only sang a couple of lines? She could surprise us with the studio version, the same way she turned Pokerface, of all songs, into a ballad.

But I can judge, because we already know what Princess Die sounds like it, and it is meant to be a piano ballad.

I didn't say it wasn't, I'm saying that it's not destined to be a mess if it's another genre, like my Pokerface-Ballad comparison.

I would be so upset if this became the first single…

I'm Chloe. Except the C and the L are silent.

I don't like Princess Die at all, it's a very flat song as a ballad. But if she changed it uptempo as everybody is saying, then I can't judge something I've never heard.

Another example is The Edge of Glory, that was created on her piano as a ballad, and now we know the results, it turned out to be a huge stadium rock anthem (and the most powerful song in the album, imo).

No thanks...totally not here for Princess Die. I've never been able to sit through one sitting of it without falling asleep. Sorry.

Speechless

You and I

Princess Die

I don't see a problem.

That's how I feel. I love those songs. :flutter: Eventually, I want there to be enough studio-recorded Gaga ballads for me to make a nice, long playlist out of. I think she should still focus on EDM/uptempo pop more than anything, but I love her ballads too.

Im blonde, I'm skinny, I'm rich, and I'm a little bit of a bitch.

But TEOG is already an upbeat ballad, so it transferred easily into its final stage. I feel like Princess Die will have a harder time making this transition, unless she completely reworks the song from top to bottom.

Queen Gloria

Not a fan of Princess Die but we'll see how it pans out if she adds it to the album. I usually change my mind once I hear a final song and see how it's presented. I just haven't really enjoyed it, the performances do nothing for me. I hate the acoustic versions of Hair and You & I too so maybe it's just that I don't have a taste for her rock ballads besides Speechless.
