Kamala used to talk like an elite politician, and in the era of Trump, you will look bad if you act like an elite politician. Acting elite was important to win you a presidency, but today its viewed as a negative thing. So I see her acting more normal now and being herself, which is also a political strategy.

We’re having a convo that involved a disagreement loll and I didn’t take it personally at all I was serious , hope u find your answer. Both campaigns signed a legal commitment to the debate at ABC. He wants to back out and run to a place they will let him turn it into a Trump rally. It's a ploy.

It's also important to remember that "neutral" for the alt-right is only saying stuff that fits their world view.

He hasn't (thread title is wrong). He wants to be perceived as such, but he hasn't. Just the opposite.

And if, for some reason, Harris agreed to the Fox move, odds are Trump would then find some other reason to back out.

Except for the fact-checking, yeah. And -- it totally backfired. In a fairly moderated debate with no audience present, I'm sure she would wipe the floor with him. It wouldn't be like 2016 where he had no record to defend. In 2024 the list of things she could bring up is a long one. She would just be a better debater in general too. Trump is a high IQ guy (to the best of my knowledge) and he's sharp at what he does, but she would be a lot more articulate. 

However, if it was on Fox it wouldn't be properly moderated, and I don't think she should do it.
