I understand what you mean, but I still don’t believe it and I think that it is not beneficial for Russia. I was born in Russia and am a citizen. There have been continuous about a deal but it seems that Netanyahu truly gives no **** about the hostage and was probably given the OK he needs from the US to commit more atrocities. Given that some insider reports are saying Haniyah was involved in ceasefire talks which the US & UN expected to work out very very soon - I'm willing to bet the assassination is to end the talks. The entire history of Iran & Israel's post 79 conflict is one of showmanship followed by proxy warfare. Neither will ever engage each other in direct conflict, even with major allied support both nations would be glassed and then abandoned once their allies get bored and sign a peace treaty. And they both know it. The current proxy warfare via land & territory the International community doesn't genuinely care about is their ideal format.
