They hit a very crowded residential area, right next to a hospital. So far there are 2 reported victims and at least 20 injuries.

It will, because this is what the admins of this forum decided way back. Not because it is uncomfortable for me, it should be uncomfortable to you talking about this attack without giving the context of a terror organization named Hazbullah (which is a proxy of Iran) bombing 12 kids.

 

Israel may did a whole lot of horrible things, but she didn’t just attack Beirut to kill civilians, she attacked a specific building related to Hazbullah.

Hezbollah attacked Israel first on Oct. 8 and started this mess, Hezbollah murdered 12 innocent kids that were playing football, so Hezbollah is the primary and only part to blame for this absolutely unnecessary bloodshed.

It's not verified that it was a Hezbolah attack on the Golan Heights. The only documented evidence Israel has released has been pictures of Falaq-1 shrapnel with no evidence supplied the shrapnel was removed from the blast site. But Hezbollah has taken credit for attacks that day, and it's entirely possible this rocket went off course - it's about 3km from an Israeli military base. US intelligence has explicitly stated they have no evidence the residential area was deliberately targeted.

The attack is horrific. It absolutely should be condemned be it accident or intentional target, especially if it's the later. 

But Israel has not treated the Druze people kindly over the years. Seperating them from their family, 20 years of heavily surpressed ability to cross into their homeland of Syria to be with family or to engage in religious practices. Israel directly appoints the leader of the local government. Israel also refuses to recognise the Druze as Syrians, despite the majority of Druze refusing to take on Israeli citizenship (which is only optional because Israel backed down in the face of heavy opposition to the attempt to force it on them). 

And that is exactly why I comment on what I see as faux outrage by Israel & it's supporters. Especially when it's allies in the US, my native UK etc continue to support Israel and supply weaponry while they intentionally bomb hospitals & refugee centers. It was only yesterday that Netanyahu attempted to block the medical evacuation of seriously injured children to the UAE. 

Now this building attacked by Israel was in a civilian area. On a busy road as can be seen in footage on all reputable news sites. Many of the injured will be normal civilians who happened to live or exist in the area, hurt or killed as collateral for an attack which by all available reporting has failed in it's primary objective. How is the direct targeting of a civilian area, with no guarantee of a successful strike on the target, acceptable in your eyes but the attack on Majdal Shams (which is the int. intelligence community does not believe was intentional) unacceptable? 

And before you ask - I quite happily will state that I think both attacks put civilian life at risk unneccessarily and show the utter lack of regard for life on display in this conflict. I'm just wondering if your prepared to take a moral stance without passive aggressive non-comments or laughing at Lebanese people who rightly are afraid of what this latest escalation means for their safety?
