I was expecting the greatest opening ceremony of the Olympics to date and aside from Gaga’s performance I am mind blown over how terrible it was. There were little elements that seemed great but all strung together in the most random, nonsensical way imaginable for a program. lowkey same, i expected the whole ceremony to be more of a "moment" as a whole but it feels like nobody cares? aren't the closing ceremonies the bigger deal anyway?

I always thought the opening ceremonies are the biggest. 

Beijing 2008 was great, London 2012 with the Spice Girls and the Queen and James Bond lol

She truly made my day today! I’m beyond happy for her and for this accomplishment! The world reverences her talent, THIS IS INSANELY EPIC!!!!

Also so nice of her to praise the athletes’ talent! A humble, sensible and down-to-earth Queen

Omg that’s exactly what I told my parents but my father said they had to do it early in the evening so that the Olympic players don’t sleep too late

Same, I watched this ceremony because of Gaga and kept watching because I hoped she would come back but

It was a great performance, the transmission/direction was ok, not bad not out of this world.. you would think that since a director is producing it, he would know better. 

I did notice since the beginning how simple it's shaping to be. Like the concept is original and interesting enough, but the budget isn't showing. I would have wanted to see boats completely themed to each country, screens or nice props on the sides of the river, and complex stages happening on the water. 

Is the closing happening in Stade de France?

London and Beijing are still the top ceremonies for me so far.

Ugh I just love her so much  posts like this show how much effort and research she puts into every thing she does. It’s one thing to be a great performer, but it’s another thing to be an educated performer, and that’s where I truly believe she stands out the most.

Don’t wana sound weird. But I’m so proud of her. She was amazing, the look was superb and of course her vocals were on point. But I’m not surprised, that’s the woman who’s doing everything with passion. Love my Lady. Show them Queenie
