I took some French in college and I couldn't understand sh*t 

Celine was (understandably) a lot clearer but Gaga's song was way harder to follow and I actually knew the song Celine was singing so

There's no echo here either so it was likely just a problem with the other telecast (and not the original recording).

It could've been way better if they gave her an INDOORS cabaret set with better camera angles and less stairs. What Celine did makes much more sense I think. I would've put a gorgeous piano under the Arc de Triomphe and let her sing a ballad

OKAY HOLD ON this was kinda fun! I'm so relieved she didn't sing La Vie En Rose as everyone's heard her sing that 100x (and it was in ASIB too) and that she chose something fun. I like that she used a combination of her more pop voice and her jazzy voice. I unexpectedly heard hints of old Gaga in there She sounded great! 

I knew she as going to sing something in French! Showing off her language talents, and it just makes sense to appreciate a different language and culture at a multicultural world event. But I know the French hate when Americans try to speak French.. I do wonder if the French people admire her effort to sing in their language, or are hating how she sounds
