bpmMonkey 4,162
… 😮💨 love a good intro for a techno track, but not for 80% of the entire duration. This could have easily be a good standard track at a 5-6 min mark

But we can't know if that was the intention or not. So it's not impactful or meaningful. It's just a track that goes nowhere.

I mean, the Kim track really works for me, since you have vocals to cling on to, it’s way easier to get structure in these things that work if you have a vers and chorus. Still excited to hear the rest of the collection, but so far it’s a 1/3 for me (at least on replayability(…?)) the production is still really nice, well crafted and unique, just as a song it doesn’t work for me.

I really wish there was a version of Reason Why with just Kim

It was pretty much just in need of final touches and then mixing and mastering. The person in charge of releasing the project is Sophie’s brother Ben Long, who was Sophie’s mixer for previous projects anyway. I believe this album is going to be everything Sophie intended it to be, and I think many people are unaware of how having Ben in charge of this is the best situation. He will do anything he can to make sure this is her true vision, I mean he was very involved in the creation process and has hundreds of Sophie’s unreleased tracks. Sure, some things might be mixed a little different to how she wanted, but at least a person that was family and had worked close with her constantly is in charge of controlling that stuff. I truly believe this will be very much how she initially envisioned album 2 to sound. tHeRe cAn bE oNe hUnDrEd pEoPlE iN a rOoM
