Kamala's policy on Israel/Gaza would probably be nearly identical to Biden's in practice, just with a tad bit more vocal pressure on Israel to agree to a ceasefire.

Both have maintained that Israel has a right to defend itself from terrorists (which is true) and that Israel has a responsibility to prevent civilian deaths in Gaza (which is absolutely true).

Will she be slapping sanctions on Israel or something? No, absolutely not. US citizens by large support Israel, even the ones that are upset about the genocide it's carrying out. The Gaza issue is also a low priority one for American voters, even young voters, falling well below domestic issues like the economy, immigration, civil rights, gun control, abortion, etc.

Any US president's policies will reflect all that to some degree. Otherwise, they risk their ability to get elected at all.

She can absolutely campaign on protecting lives in Gaza, she just needs to be extremely careful her statements can't be interpreted as anti-Israel though.

Candidates can drop out, meaning they're ineligible to receive delegates and the nomination.

Biden stepped out of the race, those delegates have to go to somebody, and they've pledged their support to the other person that was on the ticket a plurality of Democrats voted for.

We quite literally voted for Kamala to be Joe's backup and thus, she is.

Nobody "bypassed democracy" lol. It'd be infeasible to have a rushed primary a month before the DNC when we've already voted for Kamala.

If you can't vote for harm reduction, you're letting everyone at risk know you don't care that the people will suffer.

You all think my vote is worth nothing, to me my vote is a manifestation for a future of peace and rooting out corruption in our politics. By doing nothing to stop Trump, should project 2025 be enacted, the blood of every trans person that commits suicide, every woman with an unhealthy pregnancy, every migrant kidnapped and beaten, every child starved, and every injustice perpetrated falls indirectly on the shoulders of the people that could have helped to stop him and his nazi agenda, but decided their own feelings were more important than others' lives and the reality we're all facing.

Doing effectively nothing doesn't make you the good guy.

Btw, the US will support Israel regardless. That's literally not even a choice we have other than between the woman who agrees Israel is responsible for the safety of Gazans and the man that says Israel should "finish the job".
