It's kinda crazy how empirically big she was during her peak, both as an artist but also a public figure (her first two albums, but especially her first sold a lot more than I remembered) yet her legacy has basically been completely erased since then. I guess, like her sister, it was due to her retreating from the public eye. I listened to Autobiography recently, the first time I had listened to it probably in over a decade, and it held up pretty well - given the recent pop rock revival, I think it deserves to be reevaluated.
