Other than the fact that Katy and Gaga were up and coming artists around the same time and both went on to achieve global stardom, I see no reason for these two to collaborate from an artistic standpoint. Their music couldn't be any more different and I simply cannot see how they could inject both their styles into the same song and it actually work. I'm of course biased, but for me Gaga is on a whole other level to Katy in terms of talent and artistry so I would not see this as a positive move, particularly given Katy's backlash in recent weeks.

In short, No, thank you!
