And maybe she didn't deserve it this time, but she has been one of the best drag queens ever and I think she never was recognized for it. If she had a stellar showing this season I'd liveeee for it, but she didn't. Not even the best of all her seasons imo,, she faded into the back a lot. Happy for Nehellenia's boost in star power and fan support, many amazing looks throughout the season. Soa winning congeniality gagged me, did not expect that. Like $60k for her at least, gag. bionic 41,947 Posted October 25 Share Posted October 25 (edited) They should just stop giving out legacy crowns, otherwise we'd need them for Jujubee, Roxxxy, Detox, Raven, Manila, Alexis Mateo, Shangela (prior to cancellation OFC), Latrice, Phi Phi, Coco, Adore, Katya, Kim Chi etc who are have the most impact and legacy of all the queens and gave the show some of its most iconic moments. And for some of these legacy queens who returned to a VS THE WORLD season they lost out for a totally different agenda. If I were a RuGirl (especially an international one) I would not be that interested in returning to All Stars. If you aren't a chosen one then Ru refuses to give you your flowers and for the expense the show gives the exposure for most queens probably isn't worth it. LBR except Nehellina and maybe Soa very few of te international queens will be remembered for this season which will be old news by Xmas. I also don't think it looks great to have the US—with one of the most popular drag queens representing it—to win what is supposed to be a Global All Stars season. Alyssa did fine, but she never really had a standout moment this season. Comparatively, Nelly was consistently in the top and had the "underdog" storyline. It also would've been amazing to see a girl from a non-English-speaking franchise win. Kitty and Kween, well, I would've been upset if either of them won Kitty more so than Kween, though. But even if they had the most wins, I just hated the way they were presented this season. Congrats to Alyssa. I mean, she is a Drag Race legend and no one can deny that.
