But we've seen here in Florida what just a little government abuse can do to people. We've already had amendments we voted for ripped up, constitutional rights revoked (including the right to vote), the gay community virtually erased from every classroom, education held hostage by DeSantis and his people, and women dying from a lack of healthcare, and that's just on a state level.

If Trump wins and his experts tell him exactly what strings to pull to dismantle the FBI and IRS, weaponize the DOJ, eliminate the department of education, seize the FDA and CDC, create the "Department of Life", eliminate NOAA, and leverage executive powers to replace any insubordinate state AGs who won't prosecute the law the way he wants, he literally becomes a dictator and American democracy dies.

And all the idiots in red hats will cheer as their lives change for the worse.

But you can keep believing it's impossible if you want. I'm sure most people around the world believed they were free until some bastard took an opportunity.

The odds of Trump becoming a dictator are very small, the odds of him becoming Adolf Hitler or rolling back all rights gained by women and minorities is simply laughable and will never happen.

I fully expected to get a bunch of **** here for not believing planet earth would end with Trumps election and I was correct. I predicted the same in 2016 when everyone was saying Trump would cause WWIII and I was 100% correct😂😂

I have always been honest about my opinions on this site, even when it goes against the majority of what people seem to think

I fully agree with you, and those that don’t, will (for the better) be proved wrong (which is a good thing lol)

people seem to forget Trumps been President longer than Biden has, no one lost their rights, there is no Supreme Leader Trump, he didn’t kill anyone and a Democrat was elected and is currently in the White House right after his term.

 

Democrats have lost because they focus on the fear mongering which NO ONE believes. They need to focus on their policies and how they will improve since 70% of Americans believe the country is on the wrong track. That’s what wins elections not fake hypothetical scenarios of a Hitler reincarnation.

 

I am aware many will disagree but I don’t care - I’m Canadian so the election means nothing, but if you care and want to lose? Continue pretending Trumps a threat to life.

He already eroded faith in our democratic systems so much that more than half of the voters registered to one of the two major political parties believes elections aren't fair or legitimate and all he had to do was cry about losing

That was always going to happen if a right wing judge was appointed to the supreme court, it's not like overturning Roe V Wade was part of Trump's personal agenda. The real threat is the increasingly right wing nature of the republican party as a whole, not the persona of Trump
