Because although we don't know the details yet, Trump has fomented this political climate of hatred and violence. He is absolutely being set up to use the powers of the presidency in an unprecedented way if he were to win. From the takeover of SCOTUS and their recent rulings, to executive orders his former staff have said he had ready to implement where civil servants were eliminated and would be replaced by loyalists. Trump IS a threat to this country and this democracy. His entire campaign is a divide and conquer strategy so he can serve the rich by cutting their taxes and deregulating all aspects of the economy.
