I feel like a conspiracy person rn like just someone making/playing off sounds of gun shots, then acting like he got shot, then doing that, and someone screaming (acting) too. But then saw the second picture. Then I think of Papparazzi at the VMAs 2009 lol. Anything is possible. Like he could have a small razor blade-kinda thing and rest of the plan aforementioned.

But I guess it really happened? I won't believe this until the facts are on the table (the shooter). He seems kinda chill... I would have gone down first of all if I got shot. Not using time on checking if there would be blood. I would just get down. Specially when I know I am the president and these things actually can happen? Some people would be shocked if this happened, but I mean he must expect that people want to shoot him honestly when he is hated and in such an important position in the world.

Anyway - probably real I guess but interesting how quick we believe it's true

There are a lot of liberal communities full of people calling for his assassination. Granted they are online, and I have never really heard any left wingers call for his death in person in any of the events that I have been to or seen, but there have been people calling for his death.

Honestly I don’t think we should be wading into this territory. It wasn’t a good path when right wingers accused Sandy Hook or Vegas of being a false flag and it isn’t a good path here. 

Sometimes gun violence is just gun violence. In this moment it was against someone most of us do not like, but that doesn’t mean it was fake. 

Let the Secret Service do their job and we’ll find out more, but let’s not join the conspiracy theory brigade that undermines the seriousness of gun violence like this.
