Biden went from the debates to meeting people at a diner, doing a kick-ass job at a rally, then flying to NYC to support the opening of the Stonewall museum.

Y'all are putting too much into one (really) bad debate.

People with early on-set dementia have good days, and bad days. I do not believe he is well enough to run.

Well that's what he's doing and it's either him or the other guy who's going to get it.

I care less about that and more about the policies he enacts and the people he surrounds himself with.

In that respect, he's practically golden.

Dude could speak gibberish for all I care, as long as he keeps doing what he's doing.

Yes but he’s still unfit for the job.

Just caught up on this. All I can say is wow.

You guys need a huge shakeup in the political system. Its not just about who is the better person- can you imagine how Russia and China, North korea etc are looking at you? I've seen clips of bidens gaffes but I didn't realise it was this bad. Wow, just wow. Surely he can't be in control of the country? There must be others running the show

Usually I don't like advertisements, but the highlight of the debate for me was the Go Mongolia ad

That was the best part of it.

Can we all take a moment to bow down and praise Mongolia?

Yeah, and we're shamed into not voting for a 3rd party candidate.

"You're just throwing your vote away" or "You're just electing Trump if you vote 3rd party," they always complain.

Well, those statements are, unfortunately, true at this point in time.

This put a smile on my face.

I really wish the Florida Democratic Party wasn't so useless, I'd love to volunteer for his campaign again. He really has been a good president. Even without the threat of Trump, I hope Joe wins again.

The situation that lead to his analysis hasn't changed

Indeed the latest article with Alan Lichtman and the first one after the debate states that even if Biden lost the debate, he's still the more likely to win! Alan Lichtman is the man that predicted the winner acurately 9 times out of 10. He also thinks it is not necessary for Biden to drop out of the race.

This better be true or else Alan will not live to tell the tale.

Idk, yeah his method predicted almost everytime right (you can argue that it was every time bc the time it got wrong was 2000), but it's still too based on things that are not empirical, specially some keys like "charismatic opponent". If it wasn't for this electoral college nonsense, I would be more inclined to say Biden would win anyway. But with this performance at the debate and with the electoral college as it is, idk, it seems like we already are in the worst case scenario. If they replace him, it will be for a candidate that's even weaker with the independents. If they don't, they rist many gaffes till november and anything can change a election so tight.
