I have not kept up with the composition of US job labor market as of late Cuz i know that statistic can become irrelevant a fact on this discussion if much of the jobs have skills mismatch issues which non economic purpose immigrants may not necessairily be able to take on (if that is the case) Its also a well known open secret that job openings tend to be inflated due to double postings and companies that post job openings without the intention of actually hiring due to some incentives. Edit: ragardless tho were not in a time of high unemployment and also we have low birth rates/ageing population so I agree in principal it shouldnt be too hard to accomodate a higher number (within reason) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
