Yet she does not have a #1 single on the Billboard Hot 100. No shade, because I know the songs and love them. But interesting considering other artist have lots of number 1s on the Hot 100, yet the streaming on those songs is average.

I dont know, I think it is an interesting conversation. 💅

Dua has songs with insane replay-ability!! :golfclap:

Even songs like Houdini and Training session, which I didn't really vibe with in the first listen, have become so easy to listen to.

Levitating was the year-end #1 on the hot 100 which makes her lack of #1s completely unimportant

Consider that she's not American and British/Australian/Canadian singers always had tough time to break the American market and the charts, there is a lack of radio support in general, so it's pretty impressive that she's keeping a steady amount of streams for those specific songs.

Also it's kinda proving that #1 in the streaming era is irrelevant and what is more important is longevity of the songs and the albums, as long as it's in the top 20 for a good amount of time and still has streams post-era, it's a success.

Come on and wrap that blade of grass around my hairy ass

Houdini > Training Season. I've found myself enjoying Houdini more but the rest of the album is still meh for me. But in this day and age longevity is really the prize because we've all seen how fast songs climb to #1 to fade into oblivion a week later.

The Hot 100 became irrelevant once streaming exploded, imo.

4th Time Around

The hot 100 is no longer that relevant when it comes to talking about global popularity, Dua has always been much bigger worldwide than in the states

As it should. I think streaming is the real teller for a HIT song imo.

Yes. There’s songs with BILLIONS of streams that only charted at #46 or #64.

Even Bloody Mary only went to #41 and that was a viral smash hit :air:
