Did they ever block adult content :laughga:

I still will not be returning - not after Elon’s purchase :dom:

(although I’ll admit it has some of the best material :flower:)

They definitely used to diminish its reach in the algorithm and hide it in searches. You could literally type an entire account's handle correctly in the search bar, hit search, and it still wouldn't come up because they were deemed NSFW.

Now we know the real reason why its name was changed to X. I always thought it sounded like you'd branched out into adult content by saying "follow me on X." OnlyFans isn't going to like this competition and there's a huge chance their material could be stolen and posted for free on X. This is going to be a minefield to deal with. No social media site should ever extend into fully regulated adult content. It'll result in a brand change, go downhill and become more sexually focused which will put off certain people. Kinda like the reverse of OF - you can post content that's safe for all but it's so massively focused on p**n that no one will take you seriously if, for example, you post cooking tutorials there because the name is sleazy by association.

This isn't something new for Twitter though. Even I know it's out there and always has been. OF won't lose business form this.

So he basically officially turned twitter into a **** website and called it X?

Looks like a name change someone with your name would support XxBones. :partysick:

1. How can they say this when 13 year olds and up are allowed on the site?

2. I thought advertisers and credit card companies were cracking down on prn websites which is why tumblr had got rid of prn and onlyfans almost banned prn.
