america really is becoming a third world country.

the fact that the RNC is still letting him run is absolutely disgusting and shows how power hungry they are.

He apparently may have had the largest donation hall ever after it was released :bradley: and a major spike in volunteers for the campaign.

(I am assuming this doesn’t count big corporations and stupid rich people getting together for fundraising events - I assume it just means from “small donors”)

I have a scary feeling - ‘Mark my word, May 30th 2024 was the day the Democrats helped re-elect Donald Trump as the 47th President. And the verdict will be reversed by either the court of appeals or the Supreme Court sometime over the next few years.

I don't expect this to have an effect on the elections however :franminervini:

Is there some reason my LG7 isn't here? Has she died or something?

I don't know I'm a pretty independent person when it comes to politics and don't see how this looks good for Trump.  I know conservatives will say this helps him....

But I mean it's still not a good look.  And Trump isn't exactly known for using restraint.  So all his appeals and what not will be going on for the next couple of months when he runs for pres.  I think it's enough to turn off some undecided voters.

Sumtin else just occurred to me. There were twelve people on that jury and they were unanimous, and they came back sharply enough with their 34 x 12 guilry verdicts, so they didn't have to pin any holdouts to the wall. I thought there might have been at least one Trumper in there, given that the defence had equal say in jury selection, but no, not one. Now I know that Trump is a New Yorker and so they know him best and therefore hate his guts, but still .... it's encouraging.

One of the jurors (#2 in the below chart) got their news exclusively from Truth Social, so that's pretty much as die hard Trumpie as you can get. And the decision was still unanimous.

This. Stop with the “liberal hater” rhetoric.
