He won't be sentenced to prison for this. So he won't have to even pardon himself.

The question is about D.C and Florida cases. Those cases are stalled and if he gets elected he'll get them out of the way.

Very true. I was just replying to homie that said he's gone become president and reverse the verdict. Even though he won't see the inside of a jail cell for this, he can't wipe his record unless he pulls some dictator mess

It's good news for two reasons I think.

First, I think it will lose him more votes than it wins him. His cult base are going to vote for him anyway, but he needs moderate republicans and independents as well. Yeah, some of them may take the view that it's a witchhunt etc, but I think more people will be turned off by the fact that he is now a convicted felon.

The second thing is the effect that it might have on Trump himself. It might do him some emotional damage and he might go too far in what he says and does and lose more independents. I think it's about six weeks to setencing. God knows what he might get up to during those six weeks.

He's not in jail. There's another court date in July for his sentencing. Expect heavy fines and hope for more.

(If this is incorrect, someone please correct me. I'm getting the information secondhand.)

Funny seeing conservatives say “This secured Trump’s presidency”

So… why were you saying he was innocent? If you were so sure this would make him win, why not legitimize this ruling? Don’t you want him to win?

I doubt he will get jail time, its a white collar crime and non violent also hes a first time offender.

So my guess is he will get few years probation ,massive fines and penalties . :traumatica:So funny hes a felon so he cannot vote in his home state of Florida now. Desantis made it so they cannot vote even when they passed a ballot measure.:holdmyhand:

Will it make a difference to anything if he's found guilty? Genuinely asking because idk how it works in US it seems you can do anything and still be president.

Imo all the Trump legal stuff has seemed so performative atp. Like what CAN'T he get away with?...

Eugene Victor Debs ran for president in 1920 from prison, so even in one of the countries worst legal repercussions Trump still could run for president.
