Bonnie's material for other artists is stronger than her own so I went into this with an open mind but it turned out decent. Guilty pleasure fun pop bops for the majority of it. Wild that she put American Girl on it 11 years later (plus a few other tracks from years ago) but it's a self-released album, she can do what she wants. My favourites are Jenny's Got A Boyfriend, American Girl, Forever 21, Electric Heaven, Worst In Me, Snatched, Sleepwalker, Just A Kiss and Stars In Your Heart. Released perfectly for the first day of summer, it was a bright and sunny joy to welcome in June 1st. She may not have the career she helped Katy Perry build but she's a humble songwriter still doing her thing even if it's just for herself, so good for her.
