Nicki Minaj held a bizarre 'moment of silence' for her 'dear friend' Princess Diana during her Birmingham tour date. 
It comes amid a tumultuous time for the star following a drug arrest in Amsterdam. The rapper had to be reschedule her show at cursed music venue Co-op Live in Manchester after she was arrested on suspicion of possessing soft drugs. 

On Sunday, she was performing at Resorts World Arena in Birmingham amid her current European tour where she made reference to the late royal who died in 1997. 

'Wales - it always reminds me of a dear friend of mine, well she's not here anymore, but the Princess of Wales. 

'Let's have a moment of silence for her.'
