Why though? As far as I know, he had to take a break from GGD and stuff but it’s very likely that he’s still in touch with Gaga related stuff in his personal life. Am I missing something?

I saw her Vegas show on Oct 4th and it happened to be a full moon that night (which I pay attention to for personal/spiritual reasons anyway and remember thinking how lucky and cool it was).  At that show, she told a story that I am fuzzy on the details of (thanks to the buzz and excitement of being literally seated for Mom in row 4), but I believe it was a story about either Papa Germ or Tony teaching her about some Italian prosperity manifestation tradition of shaking a fist full of money at the full moon.  I wonder if she told this story at all the shows, just that night, or on any other dates that may have also fallen on full moons?  Can anyone who saw her in Vegas on a night other than Oct 4th confirm or deny?

 

Her Vegas residency resumes on June 19 and I would be very surprised if she didn't release LG7 lead single before then, and maybe even preview/perform it at the new dates in June/July.

 

I'm SO excited and pumped for this new era.  The last era that I personally resonated with as Gaga™️ was BTW.  ARTPOP ended up being my favorite album, but it took time to grow on me (as seems to be true for many Little Monsters) so I can't honestly say that LG4 era hit until retrospectively.  I loved LG5-6 and even some of the jazz stuff as much as any devout Gaga stan could, but those eras just fell short sonically in my opinion.  LG7 just feels different in a good way and like we are really getting our girl back after a decade of patiently waiting and supporting despite not feeling fully satisfied since then.  I have stanned like many of you through delays and teases and jazz and major films and Nurtec and Haus Labs and all the other distractions.  I. AM. SO. READY!!!!

The shaking a dollar at the moon story from her grandma is told at every show before rags to riches but it is indicative of her headspace creatively at the time though!
