To me personally, I've heard older gay men talk about their feelings towards the word queer. And it's not a reclamation to them. They're still deeply hurt by it. And at the end of the day, I'm always gonna respect that because those gay men are the ones that actually had to fight for their right to live 45 years ago. Not the people fighting on Twitter about if its reclaimed or not.
