She absolutely has connections, PR people absolutely send her tips and info directly. But she also accepts anonymous stuff mostly un-vetted, but she'll indicate when that's the case. She'll also say, 'I got this tip, I tried to look into it and blah blah blah'. So she has a wide variety of types of gossip ranging from completely made up garbage to completely true information directly from a celeb's teams.
