There's nothing "vile" about what he said and he wasn't the first person to say it. And her method of constructing songs is just as valid as writing them completely herself. The Grammy's refuse to award black artists in the major categories, preferring to pigeonhole them, such as the time they handed album of the year to 1989 instead of TPAB simply because it was a rap album even though everyone knew it was far more deserving

The rules for black artists and white artists are different in the grammy awards because they are forced to work ten times harder and even then still get unfairly snubbed constantly. Meanwhile, any mediocre piece of garbage that Taylor Swift puts out like Midnights is devoured by the racist committee who are all desperate to award the new face of white billionaire greed and capitalism

This logic will only stand if the winners were decided by a secret committee or something…. But they are not. There’s a voting process. Now that’s an altogether different matter that the vote bank might consist of more old white men…..and they might have their….er…”preferences”.

 

grammy needs to include new voters making sure of gender and racial diversity.
