But the politics in Israel is much more complicated than left/right and you really need to learn and dig to understand the whole picture.

I know alot of Israelis are anti Netanyahu because he failed to protect the border, and did not do a good job with hostages. But are some of them also against what hes doing to the Palestinians? Humans are the same everywhere, so im not asking to judge Israelis, im just curious how things are playing out locally.

I think the majority just thinks that the war is a waste of time because it's impossible to eliminate Hamas, even the Mossad and the key people from the military explicitly claims that.

But if we're talking about the humanitarian side of the war, it's a bit more complicated than just yes/no/maybe in some sense, it's a war zone, it's generations of propaganda and hate and there's still the 7th October trauma and anger cloud above everyone.

I know personally from my pro Palestinian/pro peace friends that what happened caught them by surprised, they are re-thinking everything.

If last year you could see a Palestinian flag in the gay pride, this year you won't see them at all

I think it's just too soon and people needs to heal somehow.

but also some don't say anything pro Palestine, not to deal with crazy right wingers...

it is illegal to be pro-palestine in israel.. people are getting arrested and dealt with violence

it is gonna be REALLY REALLY hard for you to convince israelis to rethink their view on israel because they are very stubborn and brainwashed so hard generationally

some israelis are feeling that israel is a depressing place somewhat... mostly the war and complications between each person in israel.. division by politics and specific opinions

they do not see a reason to celebrate israel's independence day or to celebrate it at all... they are also afraid they cannot escape israel in the future

Pro-Palestine Israelis are protesting all over the country every weekend, calling to end the war and sign a hostage deal.

I am personally receiving this organization’s newsletter every few days, where they detail the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the measures they are taking to try and stop the war.
