Reminds me a lot of “army of me” and “violently happy”. The quality and the euphoria of the vocals. We get to hear Billie in a new light and I love it. I guess in a way come to think of it she’s always had that quality bc of her insane head voice control but I’m glad to hear she’s also changing it up and trying new stuff here too. Loooove bjork so that’s why your comment made my ears prick

For the Grammys, literally a competition……same year? That we don’t know. Pop categories. Just my 2 cents. Billie placed the bar super high. Morphine Prince 101,097
Can be discuss "But when can I hear the next one?" Do we have any double album truthers here? I'm starting to believe the Ilomilo theory. Edited May 17 by Morphine Prince

Morphine Prince 101,097
I find it hilarious reading people on Twitter surprised she can sing "like this" This is literally how people who were surprised Gaga can sing sound If you listen to any of her live performances, this is no different. Anyway, feeling validated after years of stanning Billie. 9

They’ve both won many already, Academy Awards, etc. they’ve both reached a point where they can just make the music they want. Grammys are nice but I think fans take these way too serious sometimes. It’s a win/win if LG7 is a great album and that’s it, fans are happy. Billie’s is my favorite so far but Eternal Sunshine and Radical Optimism were great too. It’s a great year for pop fans in my opinion. Tortured Poets and Cowboy Carter also deserve their flowers. The girls are killing it.

Nite 4,489
Okay I've never really liked a Billie album very much before but this is so good Giving me some Alison Goldfrapp - The Love Invention vibes and I loved that album
Linus Gaga 7,931
Wildflower is giving Angel Down vibe I love Angel Down so much but I kinda wish Gaga wasn't using her Dope vocal too often, something like Wildflower, softer but still feels the emotions. Hit me a message and say hi !
Morphine Prince 101,097
Listened for a second time… oh it just gets even BETTER. I need to sleep but keep listening to songs, I feel like I’m relapsing
Hyperobject 66,766
okay, but… this album! I don’t know how Billie and Finneas keep finding these unique sounds to work with, Finneas’ production just gets better with every record, his talent is unmatched in the industry rn imo. Billie’s vocal performance is insanely impressive (as usual)… this album reminds me so much of the late 90s/early 00s music I grew up, songs like The Diner evokes this haunting feeling of nostalgia in me… :_) Blue is such a great closer btw, one of her best songs period! This is definitely the best mainstream pop record of this year so far!
