It kinda like she wanna repeat FN sounds but shamefully so she added extra tiny things. My fave tracks, aside from the singles; These Walls, French Exit & Maria. Ctouf 2,022 Posted May 2, 2024 Share Posted May 2, 2024 I used to be a huge fan of "DL1" and "Future Nostalgia," but this latest album is just... underwhelming. I'm really disappointed. While tracks like "Houdini" and "Training Season" dared to be different and took some risks, overall, the album feels lackluster. The songs are just okay, easily forgettable. I think Illusion should’ve been the second single. Falling Forever should’ve been the third single. Chorus is so fab. Her vocals on this are really expressive & fun. Definitely a standout. I think the issue I have with this album is that the instrumentals are so.. bland. It’s pop, but there’s no personality or anything distinct about it.
