GunninMan 1,386
I listened to the snippets earlier today and was quite worried to say the least. my thought then was that all the singles had a distinct sound that worked together, but the snippets of the remaining songs sounded like a whole different concept. after hearing the entire album from start to finish it still fills a bit disjointed, but far less than I assumed this morning. overall it’s a great pop album. in total I liked 7/11 songs. the singles are definitely the standouts, but I really really enjoy End of an Era, Whatcha Doing, Falling Forever, and Happy For You. definitely feel like FN is a superior album, but I wouldn’t say she’s suffering from the third album curse with this one. Luke78619 22,912
Idk how people can say she tried to do another album that sounded like FN, coz I’m not hearing it at ALL, it’s got a completely different vibe to me insta: good_lukeing | I have nothing else to promote 8

Bloody Matt 5,206
Whatcha Doing definitely my favourite so far. Maria is up there as well! Edited May 3 by Bloody Matt
Vicixs 3,261
This album sounds like something that should be playing inside a 2016 A&F. On the optimisism side of things () I liked four of the songs, which is four more than I had anticipated! Self-titled easily cleared IMO Religion is a product to sell.
TortureMeOnReplay 5,785
Falling Forever should have been the second single. Had she performed it at the Grammy's, I feel like it would have stolen some of Miley's thunder with Flowers. It could have singlehandedly saved the era and finding Training Season on album release would have been a nice call-back to FN for the haters rather than the tired extension it's felt like to everyone.

imnotyourbabe10 6,058
Have skimmed the album…really love “These Walls,” “Watcha Doing,” and “Falling Forever” - a few others are nice. I like her voice and hope to hear more innovation in her career. Edited May 3 by imnotyourbabe10
Magneto 13,277
Oof, so many opinions I don't know where to start. It definitely isn't FN, but it also isn't trying to be imo. She had a lot to prove and especially when comparing FN to DL I was curious to see if there was gonna be a common thread which makes it her own. One thing I admire about Dua Lipa is that she wants to serve old school full blown eras with proper singles, live performances and concepts. That being said I so so hate that the psychedelic theme and sound aren't really being delivered as promised. Her voice sounds great, the production is super sleek and there's definitely some bops. Will let it marinate as per usual to form a proper opinion Edited May 3 by Magneto Free my mind 3 1

SimonBaetens 6,716
I enjoyed my first listen. I can see almost every song growing on me. As an album it's not blowing me away, it feels a bit short and a lot of songs have a similar vibe. when you're lonely, I'll be lonely too / https://www.last.fm/user/SimonBaetens
Mister G 10,022
These Walls and Whatcha Doing were two of my faves off the album. The rest were okay. Maria was another good one too. This album just wasn't it for me in its entirety. Maybe it'll grow with time but right now I'd say it's just okay.
Auralegends 4,690
I think she is pushing These Walls a bit if I look at her social media posts, though I really hope Falling Forever will become a single
Kim Petrus 303
3rd listen finished and it’s definitely growing i don’t know if it’s my pods or anything but I feel like there’s so many small sounds in the instrumentals. The more I listen to it the more I found them (bells, guitar riffs). Edited May 3 by Kim Petrus 1
