It's great that her fans get so much content, but literally, who released an entire second disk hours after the release a few years ago?  She (and many other artists) are obviously trying to inflate their Spotify debuts with short songs and incredibly long tracklists.

Not really about North, but like when u fight someone, don't attack their kids or use them to hurt their parents, it's low   pretty sure Kim will attack back and somehow baby Taylor will become the victim again, it's all a calculated sick promo.

hands down her worst album for me

my biggest critique is that everything she releases just blends together now like even mother ava max has a more diverse sound 

i cant fathom why she called this album the tortured poets department and doesnt sound even inconvenienced on the album like theres no emotion behind her voice on any of the songs like its just so strange to me.

im just bored i want something else from her her songs are too wordy, full of cringe lyrics, emotionless, and samey like girl give me anything else

It's not how every deluxe works.

Even less of a reason to be upset that it wasn't packaged with the standard edition.

The CDs weren't limited edition or exclusive - they all came with a bonus track, there was no physical edition of the album that didn't have a bonus track.

I believe Taylor still hasn't released any physical versions of Midnights 3AM, so it's possible that The Anthology will be a digital-only release too.

Aaron Dessner is the main producer of the 15 Anthology songs and they sound totally different from the main album. It essentially sounds like a second album.

It's not how every deluxe works.

The vinyls still have exclusivity as they’re all completely different artworks and are not going to be available forever which is where their actual longstanding worth is derived from. Its not about the songs and fans knew that going in.

Just like with the songs on some of the Midnights physicals we knew they’d be available online release day and we knew they’d eventually come via leaks and would come to streaming later like they always did. No one bought these vinyls under the delusion that that’d be the only place to get those songs, they bought them based on the artworks.

Maybe people outside the fanbase weren’t aware of that, and that’s all good, but we’ve been around this block before and knew exactly what it was we were signing up for.  

The people who’re pissed off about this aren’t even the ones who bought the vinyls (which rarely get played mind you, the majority buy them for collecting and just stream the album to listen to it).
