Pretentious. Mediocre. Bland.

Times 1000. Just lazy. I’ve been a Swiftie for years. I can’t defend the album. Is so basic and mediocre. Like we’ve heard all those sounds before. That’s it? Bye girl

I just listened to Fortnight, and what a disappointment for the first single… So bland, so boring… Why why is this the lead single? 🥲

Honestly think this is her worst album? I'm just not vibing with it at all.

It is the worst. All “yes” people around her. Is embarrassing. The lyrics alone. Cringe. The production basic AF. No hooks. No pop. No art. I’m truly shocked

I wish she'd do something different with her voice. It's the same tone through the entire album.

Not sure what I expected, but this was not it…

Overall, the entire album was just… bland. The vocals, the production, the lyrics, everything. Boring. Felt pretentious. Several of the Joe songs rubbed me the wrong way. The “you wronged me” gag feels tired at this point.

It feels like a mix of midnights, folklore and evermore. I like the smooth production and I think it fits the overall vibe of the songs.

My instant favorites:
1. So long, London
2. Fortnight
3. Guilty as sin

The verses and the choruses sort of sound the same in most of the songs, they just run into each other. It’s a bit of a monotonous feel. The songs are all pleasant but very samey.

I'm a big fan of hers but this is not it. I think she needs a break to get some new collaborators and some inspiration.

Fearless, 1989, Red, and Folklore really seem to be her peaks so far music wise
