The freak is so out of touch with reality that he doesn't realise regular people won't stand for this kind of monetary extortion Exactly. THIS is what will kill twitter if it goes through. To those saying 'it's just 10 cents, 50 cents, whatever' you have to realize that anyone signing up for a new account will be asked for their banking info, and MANY will nope right out, no matter the cost. The goal of any platform should be to make it as simple and easy for people to sign up as possible. Requiring banking info will be a HUGE barrier to entry, and growth will tank. Guest
I think he should charge more. Whoever still uses twitter (sorry, X) should be punished

I wonder what the solution will be after making everyone pay and P U S S Y I N B I O is still under every single tweet? The bots are too advanced now? Doesn't seem to affect every other major social media.... I think the main solution would be a change to the revenue system. As long as people think they have a chance to make profit from bots they'll continue to pay whatever price he sets. Obviously bots existed before twitter had a revenue system but since having it the bots have flooded the site. A lot of the bots have paid for verification already so if they're willing to pay that then I don't see why they wouldn't pay an extra dollar for the chance of making some kind of profit through engagements cool cool
