The top secret project has seen the singer call on the veteran hitmaker, who has worked with Celine Dion, Beyonce and Mariah Carey, to create a special song. An insider said: “For Britney someone like Diane writing songs for the next stage of her career is amazing. They’ve worked together previously but during her pop era. “Now it’s time for Britney to enter a new musical era. Diane loves Britney and they have been pictured together at events previously. Diane might be kinda annoying personality-wise but she is very talented and knows how to get strong emotions and honest writing out of artists. Much better option for Britney who is just easing back into it than some producer who just wants to pump out a thumping smash hit I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin. Also tbh not a fan of Dianne Warren, used to love her stuff up until the 90s but even the award-winning songs she wrote lately for Gaga and others left me cold.
