The sad part is that Brit Smith's version of Bad Girl was a million times better than the song that Smith ACTUALLY released in 2013. Even the unreleased video trumps whatever Will.i.am made for her in 2013. 

Bad Girl could have been that one hit wonder bop from 2012.

Nope, it's a 2012 heterosexual pop song, and yet JoJo's publicly talking about how she's inventing a genre called "gay-pop" with it  And she did an interview for Billboard talking about the 'creative process' in making it, and acting as if the 2010 sound was an intentional throwback.

And this isn't even the only song she's doing this with. She played another song at an event, saying she wrote it about one of her exes, and then people found out the song was taken from another artist on TikTok without her approval, and JoJo had 0 part in writing it

This version is way more listenable in comparison to what Jojo released. But I still cringe at the lyrics. Sounds like a song written by a teenager. No wonder why Jojo brags so much about it.
