She's never promoted a movie and an album at the same time, though.

There were two years between Joanne's official release and ASIB's release.

IMO it would be unwise to do both, all at once.

I think this is a year where Gaga could show her true prowess as a multifaceted entertainer, solidifying her legacy. 

One thing that Gaga excels at is her chameleon like ability of change. If she enters the LG7 era and changes up her image before the film, people will say “look how different the character is to the actual Gaga”. It could be the trigger that pushes Gaga to the finish line at the Oscars (if the trailer is any indication of how good her performance is).

If she threads the needle just right, we can see her dominate not just the film awards circuit, but music awards as well. It could be the perfect time for Gaga to be the entertainer of the year, as her contemporaries don’t have in their cards music AND film.

I chose BEFORE, but I have doubts. LG7 release at the end of November or December 2024 would be great too! I don't want Gaga competing at the Grammys 2025 with big releases from Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish...

It's gonna be after because the movie will overshadow her album plus she can't promote a movie and an unrelated album simultaneously.

After could mean 1 year later. During makes no sense, since her focus will be in promoting the film. Tbh she should release in May, but only if she can actually concentrate on the music and promo. It’s a tricky one for me.

For her career it’s not a matter of over exposition but more about extending as much her music careeer and not burning her cards like a bit of what she did in the past.

so an era that starts after the Oscar’s or with Grammys is kinda optimal. As she probably will have music on joker and maybe they’ll launch a videoclip with at least one song either cover or new. 
A February or march release has many advantages: the ride os awards season+superbowl. She can book first summer festivals and then the tour.

but she probably already has more movies on the horizon…

it could be a possibility the album till june and tour after February.

or 2 singles till june with album coming in september.

i think february or March release.

a collab or a great performance somewhere wouldnt hurt before september interviews

That is a point of view but this movie is kind of a blockbuster for sure. It would only alliniate New found fans to something too different from the movie. Playing the Gaga is coccoo/rock crazy chick/extravagant and all those troupes are easier to let new fans be here for her

awards are important but keepijg her audience and imagine is just as much.
