So many of my Spanish-speaking friends are fans of hers but love her older music and hate her new music. Unfortunately, she's kind of sold out...

Mine too. Her songwriting peaked with Ladrones, Laundry Service and Oral Fixation Vol 1 and 2 BUT no one did it like Shakira to adapt to a new generation. She has gotten a great team of people and she's still on top of the world hit after hit after hit for decades. So that's fine too! Not every popstar has been lucky to achieve that.

I watched the Interview and yall are so damn serious. This was light hearted banter from an artist that had been around for Almost 30 years now. Offcourse she's tired of hearing her earlier work.

She's just talking how pregnancy changes your voice and how over time she's realised that maybe there was a better way some vocals could have been delivered. 

She never said she hated any of her old songs. Just that she was a bit too animated which is true but also understandable for a new artist hungry for success.

Damn yall need to chill out, pulling out your pitchforks anytime certain artists even breathes ready to attack for no reason.
