OMF 3,154
Excellent numbers, poor JLo must be depressed now. Her album flopped and don’t think her Prime tie-ins did that great either. They have both been the 2 biggest (globally) Latin artists.

SS53 was released over a year ago and had a higher debut as a single song. JLo doesn't really have anything to compare to because she hasn't participated in the streaming era until now. Yes her numbers were dreadful but it wasn't like she had a huge release recently and then dropped off. With Shakira however... these numbers are not that great for her standards globally. None of her solo songs even cracked 1 mil. It should have released last year, and maybe it would have had better chances riding off the success of a hit single. A lot of people are saying its really just a playlist of songs and not a cohesive newly crafted album. I think people should start changing their expectations for artists from the 90s, unless they are Beyoncé. If Shakira is the bigger act globally, like some fans have claimed, then wouldn't her numbers reflect that? Instead it's the opposite. Emvee 7,833
So why are we expecting huge numbers for songs that have been out for months already?
