Teletubby 143,846
Bad Bunny canceled his show in Minneapolis just two days before the event. Puerto Rican mega star Bad Bunny’s 3/23 concert at the Target Center in Minneapolis has been canceled, with local press reports citing “poor ticket sales as the culprit, an issue compounded by the steep prices for most seats.” Earlier this week, the arena's available tickets appeared to be less than half-sold for show, which would have been Bad Bunny’s first in the Twin Cities in six years. Ticketholders were sent alerts this morning that the gig was called off, and refunds or credits are being automatically sent via Ticketmaster. No plans were announced to reschedule. source "You b*tch!" ~ Rat Boy
Red 97,490
But wouldn’t it be more expensive to call off the show than to perform to the few people in the crowd? Accountants explain Not necessarily. Every time the stage is set up money goes at it. In every city they hire local constructors and production companies, which get a cut of the ticket sales. If they cancel, then the services of these parts is no longer required and less money is spent in traveling and setting the show. I remember reading that the BTWB cost 1M every time they had to set the stage at every date. its cutting losses essentially I guess
