Please no… I can’t see even one (1) ad… I’ll die :kry:

The experience of disabling your adblocker after having it enabled for a long time is the WORST. It's unbelievable how much of the internet is RIDDLED with ads. Even GagaDaily. I mean I know it's necessary, it's not a criticism, it's a necessary evil...but ****ing hell it's annoying

I kinda live for this cat and mouse game. Like you can guarantee a few days later there'll be a "13 EXTENSIONS THAT BYPASS THE ADBLOCKER BAN" article and the first one will work. That's why I love the internet - can't afford an article? Just put the URL on internet archive. They're not allowing adblockers? There's still a way around it. I will never succumb to the corporate overlords. It's my own way of being a Karen hehe

You're not even a Karen lmao

We deserve to live lives without being absolutely pummeled by advertisments

At least you know our ads are solely to keep the site online :traumatica:

Well...I feel like a Karen sometimes. If I'm streaming something on 4od (British TV streaming service online)....if you switch tabs during the adverts, the ad pauses. So my petty ass goes to the effort of reducing the size of the tab to 1% and layering it over the article I'm reading so the ad keeps playing :messga:

But yes, I agree. There is no fkn rest from it.

I get it bestie! Just out of curiosity do you have any data on the ad click through rate or anything like that? It just intrigues me how ads are actually a viable way of securing an income as me personally, I avoid them like the plague and refuse to click on them even if they're promising the elixir of life for 99p itself

Again?

Anyway, you can always use Chromium if you want a Chrome-like, open-source experience.

I still use Firefox, mostly. (For here, and a few other things, I use Safari. Long story.)
