I really like Brave browser so that's what I use for my personal computer when doing general browsing. Firefox is quite similar but I do run into compatibility issues sometimes.... maybe that's just my workflow.

If you're deep inside the Apple Ecosystem, Safari has a lot of benefits and is generally a hassle-free experience and has better privacy built-in. Your tabs and passwords are on all your devices without extra setup. You won't like it if you depend on browser extensions because very few extensions are supported.

There's also a new breed of browsers like Sidekick, Arc, and SigmaOS. Maybe they're the next big thing.

If symptom persists, consult your doctor.

Firefox has always been superior anyway :vegas:

Yes, I love firefox.

Haven't been using neither Internet Explorer nor Safari for over 12 years. And Chrome, I can't recommend it, it's litereally owned by Google and gives Google total control over the internet, anything you visit is stored by Google forever.

I find it unfair to want to get all of Internet's content for free, for websites/creators that need it to run or have a profit, especially if you're not willing to pay for a premium alternative when there is one. I absolutely don't mind having ads if it means I get to enjoy everything for free, and can spare costs on all these services that offer premium versions.

I agree it is unfair but everything in life is somehow unfair and sometimes unfairness is a response to unfairness. Tbh, many websites have often attention-grabbing headlines and much hot talk and few actual content. Remember when YT introduced the rule that videos over 10 min allowed for multiple adds and suddenly there was a surge in videos that last exactly 10-11 minutes? The question is whether they do content for fun and ***need*** the profit in an existential way or do content just for the profit

Google already is a multi-billion rich company and we don't wanna make it richer than it is

and there is much content behind a paywell (newspapers, other sites, etc.)

I don't like watching YT on the youtube app b/c it has this annoying adds, I prefer to watch YT on the normal desktop website on FF without adds completely

if you want to support smaller or local sites by de-activating adblock add-ons that's alright and even noble and good morals :applause::party:but at least in my case, my usually visited sites are from big corporations whose wealth is bigger than the entire wealth of countries like Uruguay, Serbia, Mongolia
