My bf actually got his friends free tickets to the Monster Ball bc the company his dad worked for had concert tickets as an employee perk. When I went in spring 2022 I was 3 rows back and spent about $1800 for 2 tickets. Now that same section is $1900 for 1 ticket... GagaSine 7,464 Posted March 20 Share Posted March 20 Also I know y'all wanna blame her team for this but they are not solely responsible, it is a variety of factors including ticketmaster being extremely greedy, inflation and increased live production costs, wages for the stage workers, etc. Even the venue might have set an increased booking fee (idk how Vegas residencies work so maybe that was already included in the contract but maybe they get a cut of the revenue and want to meet a minimum amount of profit before the last shows are up). Anyway concerts are just more expensive now unfortunately. Even bands that try to fight it like the Cure still ended up having to get ticketmaster to refund fans bc they still ended up charging more than the band wanted. 5 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
