I'm not a Meghan hater unlike many people here, but I don't get this album cover at all. What is it that I don't like??? There's something about the shades of black and blue that don't work in my eye

No hate but what growth?

If you told me All About That Bass, Me Too, Mother, and Made You Look were from the same album I'd believe you. The songwriting hasn't improved. The music sounds the same. The themes are the same.

 

The only outlier is No which is her best song

There's also something about the pose. The way her legs are positioned makes her look a bit tilted and not centered. The Beyoncé hand sign looks weird too. I'm sure there had to be better photos.

I wish she actually would grow through, musically, for a decade she’s released songs that sound like they’re from the same album.
